Polityka prywatności FileES
Obowiązuje od 30 października 2026 r.
Kto odpowiada za dane
Wydawcą FileES i administratorem danych opisanych niżej jest ATM Projekt Tomasz Król. Kontakt w sprawach danych osobowych: rodo@atmprojekt.pl.
Aplikacja FileES
Serwer demonstracyjny demo.filees.space
Serwer demonstracyjny prowadzi wydawca. Przy aktywacji konta demo przetwarzamy:
- adres e-mail — wyłącznie po to, by wysłać jednorazowy kod aktywacji; wiadomość wysyła własny serwer pocztowy demo.filees.space, bez zewnętrznych dostawców;
FileES privacy policy
Effective 30 October 2026.
Who is responsible
FileES is published by ATM Projekt Tomasz Król, the controller of the data described below. Contact for personal data matters: rodo@atmprojekt.pl.
The FileES application
FileES sends no telemetry, usage statistics or automatic crash reports. It contains no advertising or analytics.
Your FileES server
FileES is a client–server application. Files, their history, accounts and the e-mail addresses used for activation live on the server the user chose — their own or their team's. That server's administrator controls this data. The publisher of FileES has no access to it and does not know such instances exist.
The Android app
The app sends data only to the server it was paired with using a code from a computer; the connection is encrypted. That server receives the files you pick with Add, the contents of folders you choose to watch, and the device's public key, which identifies it. The private key is created on the phone and never leaves it. The publisher of FileES does not receive this data.
The camera is used only to read the QR code during pairing; the image is neither saved nor sent. The app can access only the files and folders you pick in the system's picker. The app lock is handled by Android; the app receives no biometric data.
The demo server demo.filees.space
The demo server is run by the publisher. When a demo account is activated, we process:
- the e-mail address — only to send a one-time activation code; the message is sent by demo.filees.space's own mail server, with no third-party provider;
- the IP address and the application's installation identifier — to limit the demo to one activation per installation and to prevent abuse.
For these limits we do not store the e-mail address, IP address or installation identifier themselves — only cryptographic hashes that tell whether a value was seen before. These records and the demo server's system logs are deleted within 14 days.
Everything uploaded to a demo account — files, history, shares — is deleted entirely 120 minutes after activation.
Updates
The Microsoft Store version is updated by the Microsoft Store; the data Microsoft processes for this is governed by Microsoft's privacy statement. The version installed from an MSI or AppImage checks for updates anonymously by fetching a signed release description; the update server sees only the connection's IP address. The Android app installed from an APK works the same way. The Google Play version is updated by Google Play; the data Google processes for this is governed by Google's privacy policy.
The filees.space website
The website is static: it uses no cookies and no analytics. The web server keeps standard technical logs.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Poland: the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, UODO). Because the demo server keeps only hashes, we usually cannot tell which records concern a particular person — and after 14 days there are none.
